The Crook Comey

The Crook Comey

The recent ouster of FBI Director James Comey was long overdue.

Comey was the law enforcement gatekeeper of the Obama Administration whose function was to deflect law enforcement away from justice issues that Obama and his ilk did not want to surface.

I have been living under all of the long list of FBI Directors, beginning with the first director, John Edgar Hoover and I do not know one that has been honest. Not a single one. James Comey was no different. Heavily involved in the HSBC money laundering scandal, he, not unlike his predecessors, was certainly controllable by blackmail.

When Comey was kept in office by newly-inaugurated Donald Trump is a mystery. I thought that, perhaps, there was a quid pro quo since it seemed that, by re-opening the Hillary Clinton eMail investigation on the weekend before the November election, Comey saw the writing on the proverbial wall and determined to keep his job by assisting Trump.

I have long held that the FBI is not a real law enforcement agency; sure they make some token arrests. But they only real thing that they seem to be good at is publicity. J. Edgar himself set the bar for that standard, making certain that the reputation of the FBI was held in high esteem by the public. Hoover insisted on hiring clean-cut, non-drinking, non-smoking, white, heterosexual males, but, in private, was very hypocritical and did not hold those same standards for himself and his deputy, ummm, constant companion, Clyde Tolson. Stating as fact that the “FBI always gets their man,” from the modern investigative and research capabilities of the FBI Laboratory to the indexing of criminals and anybody else that J. Edgar thought subversive or that he might find useful for blackmail purposes, the Public Relations Department of the FBI does a magnificent job.

J. Edgar Hoover was up to his bra straps in hypocrisy. Any Agent who dared to cross Hoover or caught more of the limelight that Hoover was edged out, one way or another. Agent Melvin Purvis of gangster John DIllinger fame is but one example. Purvis ended up committing suicide, or so they say. From his hatred of African Americans that he deemed subversive (Cointelpro and anti-publicity of the Black Panthers and the illegal wiretapping of Martin Luther King) to the blackmailing of politicians, he was dangerous man.

John Edgar Hoover fights crime... no fights for the FBI's reputation

John Edgar Hoover fights crime… no fights for the FBI’s reputation

Nothing has changed today. The FBI operates on a tissue of lies. The FBI Laboratory has been widely discredited for falsifying evidence to benefit prosecution.

A few years ago, the FBI released a press statement stating that they were now able to microscopically examine a computer hard disk drive and recover erased files. Myself and the community of geeks laughed at this. What hogwash! That made me call to question what other “breakthroughs” that the FBI Lab had. As it turned out, it was all so much fear mongering and psi op for potential future jurors.

I saw this first hand in the early 1980’s. There was a two or three state ring which specialized in codeine-containing cough syrups. One brought in a forged prescription to our family owned drugstore and my father notified law enforcement, who told him to go ahead and fill the prescription and they were there when the perpetrators came to pick it up. For some reason, they used the FBI Lab to ananyze it (I believe it was because it was a multi-state operation). But no matter, sure enough, the FBI Lab came back with the analysis and said the prescription bottle contained codeine. The trouble was that my father said (to me) that it was illegal for him to knowingly fill a forged prescription. Knowing how the FBI operated from my own run-in with them (over the Kennedy assassination), he opted to fill the bottle with distilled water and Lilly’s wild cherry syrup. I witnessed this personally, so I know it to be true. My father was a very honest person and a U.S. Army officer and Veteran of both World War II and the Korean conflict and wasn’t about to lie in court, and told me so. Fortunately for him, the case never required him to testify, but I often wondered that if the defendant had known, what would have happened differently.

Is it any wonder that the U.S. Attorney wins nearly 100% of the cases that it prosecutes? They come in waving some FBI Laboratory report and the defense crumbles.

When Supreme Court Justice John Roberts changed his stance on the legality of Obamacare, we all wondered aloud if he was being blackmailed.

(I might parenthetically add that by declaring that Obamacare was a tax, the Supreme Court left open a window for someone to challenge its unconstitutionally based on the fact that the Act originated in the Senate and taxation bills must originate in the House of Representatives; I do not know why no one has done so.)

Harold Watson "Trey" Gowdy III will never be FBI Director!

Harold Watson “Trey” Gowdy III will never be FBI Director!

Now Judge Andrew Napolitano, Fox News senior judicial analyst, has gone on FOX Business Network on Monday, May 15th, to discuss allegations Senator Rand Paul and another senator were under surveillance by the Obama Administration. Napolitano also dropped a bomb on the Obama administration spying on the US Supreme Court.

History has taught us that these agencies abuse their power, so I am inclined to believe Judge Napolitano.

Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) has been suggested as Comey’s replacement. I doubt that this will ever happen, since he was one of those Republican “Nevrer Trumpers.”

And then we have the idiot sore-loser Hillary supporters, like Rosie O’donnell, who are livid that Trump fired Comey, yet only a few months ago were calling for Comey’s removal.

Go figure.
